Visit the 100 Mile Store for Spit-Fire Fridays -every Friday- for gourmet delectables and sampling.
Meats cooking on the spit will tantalize your taste buds. The
smoky smell of a wood fired brick oven preparing flatbreads,
bagels and crusty rolls will be wafting through the air. Smell the aroma of the Black River Food Co’s pulled pork or gourmet soup and pair it with a seasonal salad... your one-stop-shop
for a naturally amazing meal for yourself and company, at home or at the cottage. Don’t forget to sign up for one of our exciting culinary workshops while visiting us.
It was a natural progression and the vision of Muskoka Meats’ owner David Purdon that the store adapt the 100 mile concept. "To combine the efforts of the farmers, chefs and
processors just makes sense".
With an excellent reputation for quality products and service, Muskoka Meats has made it even easier to source local products paired with the passion to deliver you the best there is to
offer. The 100 mile store will offer meat, produce, fruit, preserves, honey, maple syrup, gourmet soups, salads, pulled pork and campfire baked beans, arts, crafts and perennial plants
all produced within a 100 mile radius, as well as wood fired bagels, flatbreads, and pizza. The onus is on natural and traditional production methods and small batch sizes. Products
will change regularly based on the season, availability and local participation. If you are or know a natural producer or artisan looking for an outlet to distribute their goods, please
contact Dave.
We hope to see you soon 3 doors past the Muskoka Store on Hwy 11 North. Or contact us at 705-687-3283 or
